Use Lightning Download to speed up your downloads if you like. Lightning Download I will be adding L4D2 VPK's. I will try to update L4D2 once per week. No Adds, No sign-up but please visit the sites below. All vpk's downloaded from l4dmaps.com or l4dmods.com real busy sites don't give up! Both are great sites! When I host L4D2 games everybody is always looking for maps. So I put together these huge zip files. If you are having trouble loading or CTD (crashing to desktop). After adding Left 4 Dead 2 add-on VPK's. Make sure you have L4D1 & L4D2 both installed correctly, verify both L4D1 and L4D2. To verify, right click the game (works on any steam game) choose properties, choose the Local files tab, then choose verify integrity of game cache... (one will always be bad). Next make sure you don't have multiple copies of the same VPK files.

Left For Dead 2 L4D2 VPK files Campaigns & Survival. (UP-DATED 11-28-2010) To install either unzip into your steam-left for dead "addons" folder or double click each vpk file. C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\ common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead 2\addons (C:\ drive if that's where you install your games.) For x64 windows (64 bit) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead 2\addons (C:\ drive if that's where you install your games.) Make sure to check your addons folder for multiple copies of the same map. (nomercy_v1.vpk, nomercy_v2.vpk) If you find files with the same name or different version numbers, delete all but the newest versions. To make all your addons work with Steam/Valves constant up-dates that do nothing but crash Left 4 Dead 2. I suggest removing all but the newest addons. If you are using mods/addons and can't join a regular game. Start the game Click Extras, un-check all the addon maps. Or just rename your addons folder (XXaddons) then change it back to play the good maps.
